New Forest History & Archaeology Group

The Group was formed in 2006 to promote archaeological and historical research and recording in the New Forest. It took over seamlessly and with the same officers from the New Forest Section (founded 1960) of the Hampshire Field Club. This independence enabled considerable expansion of local research and publication that continues to the present day.
